Jaguar Spread The Feeling Of Wimbledon

As part of this year’s #FeelWimbledon campaign Jaguar created history by taking ambassador Andy Murray’s Wimbledon trophy on a tour of the UK.

Launching at the global reveal of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake on the 14th June, Jaguar took World No. 1 and two time Wimbledon Champion’s trophy on a 19 day nationwide tour of tennis clubs, schools, parks, and city centres to spread the feeling of Wimbledon ahead of The Championships, and inspire the next generation of tennis talent.

Visiting 20 destinations in 19 days, the trophy travelled over 1,500 miles to places such as Dunblane Primary School, Hibernian Football Club, Leamington Spa Lawn Tennis Club, Central Manchester, Jaguar Land Rover sites and Goodwood Festival of Speed.


Over the 19 days, over 7,500 people visited Jaguar’s bespoke #FeelWimbledon Trophy Tour unit to take their picture with Andy Murray’s trophy, have a go at beating Murray’s time on the Batak reaction speed test and watch some of Murray’s best moments over the last year.

Andy Murray said: “It has been fantastic to see the number of people that have come to see my Wimbledon Trophy. My fans’ support has always been so important to my success and hopefully a few of them have been inspired to pick up their racquets again.”

Jaguar is entering its third year as Official Car of The Championships, Wimbledon, which runs from Monday 3 July to Sunday 16 July. During the tournament Jaguar will supply 170 vehicles from its award-winning range, including the XE, XF, XJ and F-PACE.
