Hundreds of Dacia owners are set to gather at the Broughton Hall Estate in Yorkshire on Sunday 27th August for the UK’s fifth Dacia Day.

The free event, exclusively for Dacia owners plus their family and friends, will be the biggest Dacia Day ever held in the UK with up to 800 people set to attend, as well as more than 100 dogs! The one-day get together will offer opportunities to meet with other passionate Dacia owners as well as a fun day out for the whole family.

There will be a kids area with face painting and bouncy castle, much to choose from for hungry foodies, free guided tours of Broughton Hall, not usually available to the public, plus a doggy day care area and the ever popular dog show.

Some of the UK’s Dacia owners’ clubs and online owner forums will also be joining in the day, putting on displays of some of the more interesting Dacias driving around the country for visitors to take a look at.

This year’s event will see Dacia customers able to test drive the full, recently updated model range, including the Duster on a dedicated 4×4 off-road course. A Dacia ‘Genius Bar’ will feature on the site allowing visitors to discuss Dacia’s latest cars and updates with the team and product experts.

Dacia’s range of community partnerships will be in attendance with a Rugby Football League stand, with Dacia ambassadors and legends of the game Paul Sculthorpe and Kylie Leuluai; the volunteers from SERV OBN emergency blood delivery ‘Bloodbikes’ team, with their recently donated Duster 4×4; plus the Medical Detection Dogs – another charity supported by Dacia UK.

Louise O’Sullivan, Head of Dacia UK, said: “A strong sense of community is one of the reasons owners rate Dacia so highly so we’re really pleased to be hosting the fifth annual Dacia Day, our biggest ever. We’ve had an amazing response to this year’s event and it’s fantastic that we’ve had such huge demand to attend what promises to be a fun-filled day with something for everyone. We love to see all of our customers enjoying themselves and sharing their stories and experiences with other Dacia owners.”

With other similar events taking place across Europe this summer, Dacia Day follows on from the popular and long-running ‘Dacia Picnic’ events across Europe, where Dacia owners meet for an enjoyable family day out. The first of these events took place in France in 2008.

Dacia has sold more than 100,000 cars in the UK since launching in 2013 and has built a reputation for great value, quality cars with its simple, no nonsense range.
