NEW: Honda Civic Tourer

Honda have kicked off production of the new Civic Tourer at their Swindon plant.

The vehicle, which arrives in UK dealerships in early 2014, offers CO2 emissions from 99g/km, fuel economy from 74.3mpg and the biggest boot volume in its class.

It comes with the choice of two engines: the 1.8litre i-VTEC petrol and the new 120PS 1.6litre i-DTEC diesel.

Manabu Nishimae, European President and COO at Honda, said: “More than any other product, the Civic Tourer highlights the ambition, energy, skill and tenacity of our Associates.

“Developed, designed, tested and produced here in Europe, the Civic Tourer demonstrates what can be achieved by our European teams.”
