PARTNER: Tulip relationship extended

Logistics company Fowler Welch have won additional business from Tulip following the development of an innovative approach to the food manufacturer’s distribution.

The ambient, chilled and FMCG Supply Chain specialists, who already have contracts with Tulip, has been appointed to distribute products from the company’s fresh meat sites at Westerleigh, Tipton, Ashton and Spalding to Tulip’s processing sites and customers.

Tulip produce a range of fresh, cooked and canned meat products for the UK’s leading retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies.

The expanded contract was awarded after Fowler Welch developed an innovative approach for Tulip using a blend of network locations from both companies to deliver full and consolidated loads.
