CUT: Diesel MG6 enjoys CO2 cut

MG are cutting CO2 emissions on their MG6 GT and Magnette DTi-TECH variants to 129g/km from 139g/km.

The change, which moves the 150PS, 350Nm vehicle to car tax group D from group E, also sees fuel consumption improve from 53.5mpg to 57.6mpg.

Launched in 2012, the MG6 GT DTi-TECH starts from £16,995.

Under current offers, customers automatically upgrade from an S variant to an SE, receiving £1,200-worth of additional equipment such as satellite navigation, rear parking sensors, cruise control and leather steering wheel.

Building on the SE trim, the TSE currently offers a saving of £2,000 and features front parking sensors, 18inch alloy wheels, rear parking camera, leather trim, Bluetooth, automatic headlights, automatic windscreen wipers and electric heated seats.
