PREVIEW: Isotrak set for a busy CV Show
Isotrak will present an enhanced trailer management solution at this month’s Commercial Vehicle Show.
Alongside a yet-to-be-revealed partner, Isotrak will illustrate to delegates the two companies’ complementary solutions, which look to improve visibility of trailer assets and driver safety.
The integrated safety system provides real-time monitoring of the trailer’s electronic braking system (EBS), notifying drivers and back office staff of the braking system’s condition.
It also notifies staff of roll stability activation alarms, door openings, and temperature information if connected to the trailer refrigeration unit.
“We are not only helping make HGV trailers safer, we are also enabling fleet operators to identify under-utilised trailers and optimise their fleets.”

The system also provides information that helps to improve security through axle load and door sensors, alerts fleet managers about diagnostic issues, and reduces maintenance costs through the use of brake pad wear monitoring.
It feeds real-time information, including actual speed and odometer readings, into back office systems.
Fleet operators can also monitor roll stability events in addition to red and amber warning lights.
Megan Turner, Head of Marketing at Isotrak, said: “Apart from the benefits of 24/7 visibility of all trailers, accurate trailer management also reduces operational costs for our customers.
“We are not only helping make HGV trailers safer, we are also enabling fleet operators to identify under-utilised trailers and optimise their fleets.”
