PREVIEW: Previous Relay a roaring success
Citroen will reveal the new Relay at this month’s Commercial Vehicle Show.
The van, which goes on sale later this year, is expected to include all the major model configurations found in the current range.
Panel vans, chassis cabs, chassis crew cabs and back-to-back cabs will all be offered in a variety of gross vehicle weights, with a range of HDi diesels.
The new range will also include ready-bodied specialist models, such as dropside trucks, tippers and Luton vans.
Jeremy Smith, Head of Commercial Vehicles and Business Centre Operations at Citroen, said: “The Relay is a key model in our LCV range.
“By the application of innovative technology the new model will improve and build upon the operational advantages of its predecessor.
“These include class-leading payloads, as well as one of the largest, most practical load compartments in its class.”
This year’s CV Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, between April 29 and May 1.
Last year’s event attracted more than 18,000 visitors, with even more expected this year.
Citroen can be found at Hall 5, Stand D40.
