LAUNCH: New Citroen costs £29,305
Citroen have revealed a new ultra-limited special edition, the DS3 Cabrio Racing.
Priced £29,305 and on sale now, the Racing-developed vehicle sports a 207hp 1.6litre THP engine, and is capable of achieving 0-62mph in 6.5seconds.
Only ten examples of the DS3 Cabrio Racing will hit the UK, with just 100 available worldwide.
The vehicle, which combines ‘sporting performance, dynamic styling and the pleasure of top-down driving’, builds on Citroen’s work with DS3 WRC and DS3 Racing.
Compared to the standard THP unit, modifications have occurred to the ECU, sports exhaust system and silencer, turbo system, suspension, steering and braking system.
Standard exterior kit includes a Moondark Matte Grey body colour, black fabric roof and 18inch Brilliant Black ‘Nemesis’ sports alloy wheels.
Inside, Alcantara-trimmed and embossed Citroën Racing seats with Brilliant Red stitching and headrest inserts feature.
Standard specification, which is based on the top-of-the-range DSport trim, includes LED daytime running lights, automatic digital air conditioning and rear parking sensors.
The model also features the eMyWay Signature pack, which includes an RDS stereo radio/MP3 compatible CD player, Bluetooth with USB and eight speaker HiFi system.
