FORS, the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme, is pleased to announce that B & K Structures has become a FORS Champion. FORS Champions are the group of companies that promote FORS throughout the supply chain.
As a leading sustainable structural frame contractor, B & K Structures will promote FORS at pre-tender and tender stages for all new and potential projects. “As a FORS Champion, we wish to improve the overall levels of safety, efficiency and environmental protection within the industry as well as driving best practice. FORS can help us enhance our health and safety culture within the business,” said Paul Heappey, Production and Transport Manager at B & K Structures.
Operating since 1974, the company provides a complete package of material services, across a wide range of structural products including Glulam, Cross Laminated Timber, Timber Cassettes and Steel Frame as part of its hybrid structural solutions. The company also hopes to reduce fuel consumption across its deliveries, cutting carbon emissions and helping meet its overall target to reduce the environmental impact of its sites.
