‘Another industry first’: Vmoves launch fleet-orientated vehicle status checking app

APP: Vmoves to save fleets time

Fleet operators will be able to track status reports on vehicle inspections from their smartphone after Vmoves launched a useful new app.

The Warrington-based vehicle inspection, collection and delivery provider have launched the app to rapidly speed up the process for fleet customers.

Available on Apple and Android devices, the technology aims to minimise paperwork and email receipts.

This is because the app displays an instant receipt, alongside photos of the vehicle and details on any potential damage, within minutes of the inspection being signed off.

Vmoves claim the app will be of particular use to fleet managers with a high volume of vehicles.

This is because they can access each inspection when required through the app, rather than looking through multiple emails or keeping hard copy receipts on file.

The app requires just the vehicle’s registration number and the customer’s postcode to log in and operate, then displaying the full details of the vehicle’s inspection.

Linda Mitchell, General Manager of Fleet Intelligence at Vmoves, said: “The speed and convenience of this new app allows fleet managers and drivers to enjoy greater data efficiency.

“Another first in the industry.”
