SECURED: ALD in new four-year deal

ALD Automotive have secured a new four-year contract to supply fleet management services to leading technical service provider Imtech UK.

The contract was awarded following a competitive tender managed by ERA Fleet Cost Management (ERAFCM), who were appointed to review the policy, procedures and associated costs of more than 1,100 vehicles within Imtech’s fleet.

ALD will supply Imtech UK with a fleet of company vehicles encompassing both vans and cars, alongside a range of ancillary support services including accident management.

Working closely together, ALD and ERAFCM will help Imtech UK manage their fleet operating costs.

Jim Goodhead, Group Supply Chain Director at Imtech UK, said: “We appointed ERA Fleet Cost Management to review the market on our behalf utilising their expertise to drive efficiencies and engage the best partner for our varying fleet requirements.

“Following an extensive tender process ALD were identified as our preferred supplier as they could provide us with the vehicles we required along with a range of associated first-class support services, which will help us effectively manage our operating costs.”

Mel Dawson, Managing Director of ALD Automotive, added: “The four-year agreement between ALD and Imtech UK highlights their confidence in our ability to deliver a fully outsourced fleet management solution.

“The combination of ALD Automotive’s account management team and our in-house systems development will ensure that all of Imtech Group’s objectives for managing their fleet are achieved.”
