Colm Galagher is the Chief Data Scientist for Hitachi ZeroCarbon. He is responsible for helping fleet managers and operators understand the electrification process, the insights available from operating data, and how this informs new revenue streams, operational efficiencies and reduced total cost of ownership.
With over a decade of experience, he specialises in integrating data science solutions into commercial software, leading data science initiatives in R&D environments, and advising multinational companies. He holds a PhD from University College Cork, where he applied machine learning to measure energy efficiency savings in industrial energy systems.
