Calum James joined Jameel Motors, the UK distributor of Farizon Auto, following 11 years at Mercedes-Benz in the UK.
He started his career with the German marque as Fleet Development Manager, then progressed to Aftersales District Manager for the London region, and then spent four years as National Fleet Sales Manager (Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars). He oversaw a team of nine who were responsible for increasing the Brand’s mix of end user fleet business laying the groundwork for their transition to Agency Model. He switched to commercial vehicles in July 2023, taking up a role as Head of Corporate Sales (Mercedes-Benz Vans), where he led the division to achieve record profitability and growing end user sales.
James joined Jameel Motors UK in 2025 as Head of Sales, before shortly taking on the role of Country General Manager for the UK.
At Jameel Motors Farizon Auto, Calum is leading a rapidly growing team as it establishes the born-electric Farizon SV van in the UK market. The focus is on developing a world-class operation and on building a culture of customer-centric excellence that is the hallmark of Jameel Motors’ global operations.
