BRANCH: Burnt Tree’s Refrigerental
Burton Sameday are adding a new fridge vehicle from Burnt Tree.
The Midlands courier recently switched their rental policy to Burnt Tree for some of their ambient freight rental vehicles.
And now Burton Sameday have also taken their first refrigerated rental vehicle from Refrigerental, with a second identical vehicle due to join the fleet within the coming weeks.
The acquired Mercedes LWB 313 Sprinter is fitted with a Carrier Xarios 350 direct drive refrigerated system and operates from the company’s town centre location in Burton-on-Trent.
Rob Crisp, Operations Manager at Burton Sameday, said: “We have developed a specialist service delivering urgent pharmaceutical supplies to patient’s homes and businesses, as well as a range of foodstuffs, so our fleet of refrigerated vehicles is continuing to grow.
“We have been impressed by our dealings with Lisa Davis at Burnt Tree in Derby for the dry freight vehicles supplied to date, so it was a natural progression for us to source our next refrigerated vehicle from them as well.”
The refrigerated vehicle is working on a long-term rental deal with Burton Sameday for up to two years.
“Because of the nature of our temperature-controlled work, we have extremely stringent specification requirements for us to comply with the relevant legislation,” added Mr Crisp.
“We were impressed by the quality of the Burnt Tree vehicle specifications within their overall Refrigerental range and are now looking forward to develop this relationship with Lisa Davis and her rental team in Derby across our whole range of ambient and chilled vehicles.”
