ADDITION: New engine for Astra
Vauxhall are promising class-leading whole life costs and BIK taxation with the addition of a new generation 1.6litre CDTi diesel engine to their Astra range.
The C-segment contender, when paired with the super-green 110PS engine, will offer CO2 emissions of 94g/km and fuel economy of a combined 78.5mpg.
A 136PS version of the engine is also being released, with both variants available to order now for delivery in Q1 of 2014.
James Taylor, Fleet Sales Director at Vauxhall, said: “We are delighted the addition of the economical new 1.6 CDTi engine puts the Astra in pole position on whole life costs, joining the new Insignia, plus the Design and Tech Line ranges, as a whole life cost leader.
“Vauxhall is committed to reducing whole life costs for businesses and lowering company car tax for company car drivers.”
