Jeep is preparing once again to support the ‘Thunder in the Glens’ motorbike rally event, as part of its continuing relationship with motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson.

‘Thunder in the Glens’, one of Europe’s largest annual gatherings of Harley-Davidson bike enthusiasts, attracts more than 2,500 riders to the glens around Aviemore, Scotland. However, members of the two-wheel fraternity have a close affinity with the Jeep range of 4×4 vehicles as both Jeep and Harley-Davidson are iconic US brands.

It’s the third year that Jeep has supported the ‘Thunder in the Glens’ event and the brand will once again bring a range of models from its award-winning line-up of 4×4 vehicles, for test on- and off-road.

Harley-Davidson and Jeep renewed and strengthened their European partnership in 2017 for the fourth consecutive year, meaning the Jeep brand has this year been a key partner and official sponsor of major Harley-Davidson events and rallies throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The relationship builds on the success of the two brands and their shared core values: freedom, adventure, and a passion for the open road, with all of the experiences they bring. Owners of the two brands share something special – a sense of belonging which often translates into customized vehicles that reflect their owners’ creativity and individuality.

“We are delighted to support Thunder in the Glens, which is perfectly aligned to Jeep,” says Andrew Tracey, Country Brand Manager,  Jeep UK. “Jeep owners and Harley-Davidson riders share many common loves, goals and beliefs.

“The roads around Aviemore are perfect for car drivers and bike riders alike to enjoy and I am sure the event will once again be a great success.”
