The new Jeep Cherokee will be priced from £25,495 when hitting the UK next month, it has been revealed.

Order books are open now for the mid-size SUV, which initially comes with a choice of two 2.0litre MultiJet 2 diesel engines and three trim levels: Longitude, Longitude+ and Limited.

A 3.2litre V6 petrol Trailhawk variant will hit the UK later this year.

Longitude+ adds a Uconnect media centre with 8.4inch touchscreen, satellite navigation with Bluetooth voice recognition, and nine speakers with Alpine sub-woofer.

The range-topping £35,695 2.0litre Limited 170 Automatic 4×4 version will feature BiXenon headlamps, power tailgate, 18inch alloy wheels, leather seats, back-up camera, automatic headlights, Wireless Phone Charging pad, and keyless Enter ‘n’ Go as standard.

Damien Dally, Head of Brand at Jeep UK, said: “Cherokee has always been – and still is – an important car in the Jeep line-up, and we’re delighted now to be able to reveal the highly competitive prices of this stunning latest version.

“It is up against some tough competition in its sector but Jeep is the original ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ brand, and we are confident that we can offer an attractive package at exceptional value-for-money prices to keep it at the front of our potential customers’ minds.”
