Truckman expands its collection of pick-up accessories ahead of the ‘19 registration release, with a new lighting range as used by the military and NASA.

Vision X LED light bars are an ideal solution for tradespeople who require additional lighting such as utility engineers, rail and motorway maintenance professionals, as well as farmers and landowners, in low light locations.

With exceptional power and performance, Vision X improves light output and beam distance on the road, which enhances visibility for driving down poorly lit country lanes.

Vision X is available in three models in a range of sizes, which can be fitted to the leading UK pick-up truck models including the Fiat Fullback, Isuzu D-Max, Ford Ranger, Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi L200, Toyota Hilux and the VW Amarok.

The Xmitter Prime Xtreme, available in 21-inch and dual 11-inch models, has a 400-metre beam length, uses Prime Drive technology, which emits increased light from diodes and has the ability to pulse the LED faster than the human eye can perceive.

The XPR-Series, which also has a 400-metre beam length and is available in 24-inch, 19-inch and dual 12-inch models, features IRIS reflector technology, which provides a longer light range and an unrivalled distance spot beam.

The IRIS technology is also incorporated into the Halo range, available in dual 6-inch and dual 12-inch versions and can be used as Daytime Running Lights.

Each model is supplied with brackets and wiring specific to each vehicle and includes a moisture-proof lamp housing that can withstand vibrations up to 15,6Grms.  The technology also features a built-in EMC interference filter, which prevents interference with vehicles’ electronic systems.

Mike Wheeler, Executive Chairman of Truckman, said: “It’s great to be able to offer our customers a premium range of high-quality lighting that even NASA and the military use. The Vision X LED range enhances the practicality of pick-up trucks, particularly those that are used to driving down dark country lanes and off-road conditions, such as farmers and land owners.”

The full range can be found at and retails for between £478.13 (inc VAT) to £1,215.94 (inc VAT).
