Volvo Car UK has acknowledged its top performers across its 102-strong dealer network, naming Marshall Cambridge as its overall Dealer of the Year, with six additional dealerships achieving the accolade of Regional Dealer of the Year. The Volvo Dealer of the Year challenge is determined using key performance indicators from a variety of measures, including new car sales, used car sales, parts and accessories sales, and customer satisfaction.
Six other dealerships, namely Ray Chapman Motors, Strathmore, TMS Coventry, Fawcett’s Garage, Keith Price Garages and Donalds, have also been congratulated by the premium manufacturer as they came out on top as the 2016 Regional Dealer of the Year winners.
Recognised as the biggest achiever in Volvo’s retail network, Marshall Cambridge – and the other top-performing dealers – will be heading to the spectacular Graubünden region of Switzerland, an area of outstanding natural beauty, for a well-deserved luxury break away for their efforts last year.
General manager for Marshall Cambridge, Anthony Lord, commented: “This is a fantastic achievement for the entire team, who work incredibly hard to deliver high levels of service to our customers. Having secured a Regional Dealer of the Year spot at the six-month mark in 2016, to go on to win the overall Dealer of the Year is a real testament to everyone at Marshall Cambridge, so we’re naturally delighted to be recognised for our efforts.”
The awards underline how important all roles are within Volvo’s dealerships, including aftersales, parts and accessories, which are used to form an all-round measurement of the business.
