DELIGHT: RHA welcome recognition
The Road Haulage Association (RHA) have expressed their delight at the number of member companies recognised at the 2013 Motor Transport Awards.
With numerous members shortlisted, the RHA have reaffirmed their belief that the UK road freight industry is an ‘accurate barometer’ of the wider economy.
They added that, based on the Awards, the economy must be ‘doing very well indeed’.
Geoff Dunning, Chief Executive of the RHA, said: “The annual Motor Transport Awards have become synonymous with excellence.
“We are delighted that the hard work has paid off for all of the winners.
“In particular, we would like to congratulate those who are members of the Association: Maple Fleet Services, Treasure Transport Services, APC Overnight, Miniclipper, Palletline plc and Fowler Welch.
“All are worthy winners and great ambassadors for a great industry.
“Final congratulations go to Elddis Transport (Consett) on receiving the most coveted award, that of Haulier of the Year”.
