DEBUT: First five-door Mini Hatch

Mini have revealed their first-ever five-door Hatch model.

Priced from £15,900, the variant will arrive in autumn with fuel economy of up to 78.5mpg, CO2 emissions from 95g/km and a 0-62mph time from 6.8seconds.

It offers 72mm more rear legroom and 15mm more headroom compared to its three-door counterpart, with enough room for a third back-row seat.

The vehicle’s boot is also upped by 67litres to a total of 278litres.

Standard specification will include USB interface and Bluetooth, electrically-adjustable exterior mirrors, front fog lamps and onboard computer.

Air-conditioning is also available free of charge on all models.

Optional extras will include two-zone automatic air-conditioning, heated front seats, panoramic glass roof, windscreen heating, rain sensors and automatic light control, Harman Kardon hi-fi speaker system and sports leather steering wheel.
