The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association is pleased to announce that Honda UK is the manufacturer sponsor for this year’s BVRLA Annual Dinner, taking place on Thursday 2 March 2017 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Honda UK joins Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lombard, MS Automotive (London) Ltd and VRS in supporting the BVRLA Annual Dinner, which is a key networking date in the vehicle rental and leasing industry’s calendar. Honda will be showcasing a range of its vehicles on the night, and Head of Cars Phil Webb will also be assisting with the presentation of the BVRLA’s awards.

The major sponsorship announcement comes off the back of Honda’s recent relaunch of its ‘Platinum Business Programme’. The programme enables all of Honda’s UK dealers to offer fleet and SME expertise and capabilities, and is perfectly placed to promote the all-new 2017 Honda Civic. The 10th generation Civic has been given residual values that are significantly ahead of its rivals and with a great vehicle line-up it’s well set to appear on many consideration lists.

Phil Webb said, “2017 is not only a big year for the BVRLA, but it also sees Honda celebrate a major milestone as we launch the all-new Civic and our fleet team continues the expansion of our Platinum Business Programme. That’s why it’s a perfect time for us to support the fleet industry at the BVRLA Annual Dinner, and we’re looking forward to socialising with representatives from the rental and leasing sector and rewarding their hard work.”

BVRLA Chief Executive Gerry Keaney said, “2017 is an exciting time for both the BVRLA and the fleet industry. We’re delighted to have Honda UK’s sponsorship of this event, plus support from some of the leading providers in our sector. Our generous sponsors enable us to put on an outstanding evening of entertainment which allows us to celebrate our 50th anniversary in style.”

For those involved in the vehicle rental and leasing industry, the black-tie dinner is not only a fantastic networking event, but it is also an opportunity to be rewarded for their hard work, with the winners of the BVRLA’s Industry Hero and Industry Achievement awards announced during the evening’s proceedings. These awards celebrate the top performers in the BVRLA’s training courses, as well as the deserving staff who are often the unsung heroes of the sector.

Last year’s Annual Dinner brought together more than 950 senior representatives from across the vehicle rental and leasing industry for an evening of networking and discussion.
