Fleet Operations has appointed Richard Hipkiss (Pictured) as Managing Director to spearhead the company’s ambitious growth plans.
The leading independent fleet management consultancy has made a number of senior management changes in recent months, including the appointment of Brian Hardwick as Head of Operations, as it puts a structure in place to build on 20 percent revenue growth achieved over the past year.
In his previous role as Operations Director, Hipkiss played a pivotal role in the company’s growth over the past five years and recently led the development of the award-winning online vehicle ordering platform MOVE.
Fleet Operations is planning further major product launches in 2017, as well as implementing improvements to its existing service proposition to help clients achieve even greater cost savings and efficiency gains.
Hipkiss said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time for the company and I’m looking forward to leading the business through our next phase of development, and working with our team to deliver on our ambitious targets.
“Although we have been very successful in delivering class-leading fleet management services, we are aware the market continues to evolve so we are focused on developing solutions that meet the ever-changing needs of fleet operators.
“By maintaining a focus on innovation, technology development, and enhanced service, I am looking forward to further success in optimising financial and operational efficiencies for our valued client base.”
Hipkiss has worked at Fleet Operations for 14 years, having started as a Client Services Executive in 2002. He progressed to become Operations Manager before being appointed to the board as Operations Director in August 2013.
Ross Jackson, CEO of Fleet Operations added: “Richard has been a driving force in the organisation’s growth over recent years, so represents an excellent choice as Managing Director. Together, we are committed to building on the company’s strengths while adding new layers to our service proposition, designed to ensure we continue to provide clients with innovative solutions to fleet problems.”
