PREVIEW: Bridgestone plan big CV Show
This month’s Commercial Vehicle Show is Bridgestone’s ‘most significant opportunity of the entire year’, company bosses have admitted.
A huge Bridgestone stand in Hall 5, stand 5D30, will flaunt the tyre manufacturer’s Total Tyre Care package, which allows businesses to control tyre-related costs courtesy of three bespoke services.
The three tyre management pillars – Total Tyre Life, Total Tyre Services and Total Tyre Systems – will be the most prominent visual features in the overall stand design.
Bridgestone’s location will also host a golf simulator and ergonomically-created tyre stands.
The overall attempt is to create the most compelling space possible for CV Show visitors, as Bridgestone hope to make their presence felt like never before.
“We are genuinely proud of our Total Tyre Care offering and we believe it gives us a big advantage over our competitors.”
Andy Mathias, Bridgestone
Andy Mathias, Product and Marketing Manager of Bridgestone, said the brand’s Total Tyre Care solution continued to offer the most enduring message to fleet operators.
“We are genuinely proud of our Total Tyre Care offering and we believe it gives us a big advantage over our competitors,” he said.
“This accounts for much of the look and feel of our stand.
“The CV Show is our most significant opportunity of the year, in terms of communicating key company messages and the many opportunities that exist over the three days.”
Bridgestone have also opted to showcase their provision of golf products and accessories at an industry show for the first time.
“We boast some of the most technologically advanced products in golf and think that CV Show visitors – who may be keen golfers too – will be interested in the space we have created,” added Mr Mathias.
“It is another point of difference that we haven’t leveraged before and we think it will prove to be popular.”
Total Tyre Life aims to maximize tyre life, reducing tyre cost over the entire lifecycle.
Total Tyre Services is the package that keeps a fleet’s trucks on the road and running at maximum efficiency, including tyre inspections and professional technical advice.
Meanwhile, Total Tyre Systems are the systems Bridgestone have developed designed to give fleet operators clear visibility of their tyres’ condition at all times.
This year’s CV Show takes place at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, between April 29 and May 1.
Last year’s event attracted more than 18,000 visitors, with even more expected this year.
