ENHANCED: Ctrack enhance offering
Ctrack have enhanced their Driver ID solution, which determines exactly who is operating a vehicle, to include smartcard functionality.
As a result of the changes, the system can now take advantage of existing workforce identification solutions by supporting employee or building entry card systems.
This is aimed at providing advanced insight into the status and whereabouts of drivers.
The development increases the number of methods available to identify drivers via the Ctrack solution, which already includes a dallas key, integrated navigation device and active RFID.

With Driver ID, it is possible to separate driver and vehicle data to better understand the movements and actions of individuals in real-time or historically.
This allows added visibility for businesses, while also preventing unauthorised or illegal driving by ensuring a driver has the relevant credentials, training and permission to operate a specific vehicle.
