WINNER: BT Fleet in five-year EDF deal

BT Fleet have extended their fleet management contract with EDF Energy for a further five years.

Following a rigorous tender process, the new deal will see BT Fleet manage 1,000 LCVs and 400 cars for the company until at least December 2018.

As part of the agreement, BT Fleet will provide EDF Energy with fleet and accident management, fuel provision and cards, and service, maintenance and repair.

Kevin Boxall, Fleet Manager at EDF Energy, said: “Over the past three and a half years, BT Fleet has consistently demonstrated an enthusiastic, ‘can-do’ approach to managing our fleet of vehicles.

“As a company, we have very strict health and safety requirements, which extend to our fleet of vehicles, so having BT Fleet as a partner ensures that these robust standards are adhered to.”

Dave Bowen, Managing Director of BT Fleet, said: “The extension of the agreement between BT Fleet and EDF Energy is a further endorsement of the work that we undertake on a daily basis for businesses like EDF Energy who operate specialist, business-critical fleets of vehicles.”
