TRUCK contract hire specialist Indelease has continued its plans for growth by making a second key appointment in three months.

The ambitious company is targeting major expansion on the back of increasing demand and has now recruited Jon Tew as sales director.

The move to add additional strength to the board follows the appointment of Paul Fewkes as operations director in May.

And Juliet Smith, managing director of Indelease, says it will be central to the company’s growth strategy.

She said: “Indelease has made substantial progress over the last 18 months, particularly in the provision of HGV contract hire, and we intend to build on that momentum.

“I believe we’ve handpicked some of the best people in the industry specific to their field.

“Jon’s knowledge and experience will be of huge benefit to the team and I’m positive he can help open doors to substantial new opportunities and increase out exposure nationally.”

Jon, aged 35, has more than 15 years’ experience in the contract hire and rental sector and brings with him a significant number of contacts and relationships.

He said: “Indelease is a growing company that wants to enhance its exposure in the market place and significantly increase fleet size.

“It’s a very customer-focused business with a fantastic amount of industry experience and it’s putting together the kind of infrastructure that will ensure growth is sustainable.

“Indelease has a great mentality and every customer is given a proactive service by the whole team right from the outset.

“They are fully independent so can actually offer the customer exactly what they want and tailor a package that suits them.

“We have a great service to take to market and I’m confident we can achieve our targets and beyond.”
