Osman Boyner, Founder and CEO of BEDEO
Osman Boyner is the Chief Executive and founder of BEDEO and BEDEO Group (which also includes Protean Electric). Founded in 2009, BEDEO is an international company focused on electric drivetrain technology, enabling transportation emissions reduction. With a background in engineering and a strong commitment to sustainable solutions, Osman’s early investments in lithium battery development were rooted in original university research. His concern for urban air quality drives his dedication to advancing electrification in transportation.
Osman holds an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, an MPA from Harvard University, and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management. He managed his family’s international textiles firm before venturing into the world of sustainable technologies. Recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2006, Osman’s extensive experience spans risk management at Bank Julius Baer in New York and strategic roles at Bain Cuneo e Associati, Istanbul, and Cambridge Incubator. He is a member of the Global Advisory Council at Harvard University and is fluent in Turkish, German, and English, and proficient in French.
