Catherine Kerr is an Associate at Chester-based solicitors Aaron and Partners LLP.
A graduate from the College of Law, York, Catherine joined Aaron and Partners in November 2007.
As an employment law specialist, Catherine has advised and represented a number of fleet operators in relation to their HR and employment needs.
She has a wealth of experience meeting the specific requirements of haulage clients, as well as a depth of information working on behalf of organisations such as housing associations and waste management companies that manage large fleets of vehicles – many of which use vehicle tracking systems.
Catherine’s depth of expertise includes representation at employment tribunals, updating and maintaining contracts of employment, including bespoke data protection clauses, and the creation social media policies for fleet operators.
In 2013, Catherine played a significant role in the development of a policy that protects companies from falling foul of data protection and privacy laws when using vehicle tracking systems.
The policy has proved to be extremely popular with fleet operators.
When not helping her clients to manage their employment law obligations, Catherine enjoys going to the gym, watching rugby union, going on city breaks and sightseeing.
Catherine is also a second dan black belt in the art of Shukokai Karate.
She has also completed a number of 10k races on behalf of Christies Hospital and The Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
