TOP: New release is Octavia’s flagship
Skoda’s flagship Octavia, the Laurin & Klement, is now on sale.
Priced from £26,570, the premium variant is available in either hatch or estate body styles, with a choice of a 1.8litre TSI 180PS petrol and 2.0litre TDI 150PS diesel engine.
Either can be paired with six-speed manual transmission or DSG automatic, while a 4×4 diesel manual option is also available on the estate.
Most appealing for fleets is the entry-level diesel with CO2 emissions of 106g/km, offering a 2014/15 BIK rate of 17%.
The L&K builds on Skoda’s Elegance trim, including brown L&K interior, bi-xenon headlights, park assist and adaptive cruise control.
Further standard equipment includes 18inch alloy wheels, LED rear lights, chrome window surround, leather upholstery, Canton audio system, lane assist and cornering fog lights.
