VISIT: David Jones and Andy Kirk

Secretary of State for Wales, David Jones, has visited Quartix’s Newtown site to learn more about the company’s growth and UK success.

Accompanied by Graham Morgan, Director of the South and Mid Wales Chambers of Commerce, Mr Jones also met with Andy Kirk, Director at Quartix, to find out more about the technology itself.

The Secretary of State, who is responsible for overall strategic direction of the Wales Office, said the visit was ‘excellent’ and Quartix a ‘great telematics business’.

Mr Kirk said: “We were delighted to host a visit from the Secretary of State – it was much enjoyable and informative.”

More than 5,000 customers across almost all sectors of the UK economy use the Quartix system.
