LAUNCH: New trim for Volkswagen CC
Volkswagen are adding a new trim level to the CC.
The R-Line, which Volkswagen claim ‘adds more style’ to the range, is priced from £29,505 and builds upon the standard and GT trims.
It features a distinctive front grille, R-Line front bumper, R-Line logo in the radiator grille, sill extensions, LED daytime running lights and 18inch ‘Mallory’ alloy wheels.
Inside, an R-Line multi-function steering wheel and trim is added.
Two engines will be available with R-Line trim – a 2.0litre 210PS TSI petrol and a 2.0litre 177PS TDI with BlueMotion Technology which includes battery regeneration and Stop/Start.
The petrol engine returns up to 38.7mpg on the combined cycle, while the manual TDI returns 58.9mpg.
Both engines come with a choice of either a six-speed manual or smooth-shifting DSG gearbox.
