BACK: Genus return to Leasedrive

Leasedrive Group have won back the van fleet management business of Genus, a world leader in applying biotechnology to advance animal breeding and genetic improvement.

Genus moved away from Leasedrive in 2012, and have already placed 123 Vauxhall Combo van orders since returning.

Adrian Davies, Fleet and Cost Manager at Genus, said: “Although we moved away from Leasedrive two years ago, it never closed the door on us and we were fortunate to have the group help us out on more than one occasion which would have seen us struggle to keep our drivers mobile.

“Given the nature of our business, it was critical to keep our drivers on the move.”

Roddy Graham, Commercial Director at Leasedrive, said their proposal to Genus focused strongly on profiling driver risk from a duty of care and cost standpoint.

“We are delighted to be working once again with Genus,” he said.

“We are currently conducting round-the-country driver sessions, discussing their requirements, any issues and preferences.

“In addition, we have just introduced a winter tyre programme.”
