BOOM: Keyfuels enjoying record growth

Leading commercial fleet fuel card provider Keyfuels has registered a record growth in sites since the beginning of 2013.

In the first half of the year, the company took on 130 new sites – 107 in England and Wales, and 23 in Scotland – to develop the reach of its extensive network.

Keyfuels said the greater consumer accessibility gained through the additions will help save fleets significant time and money, as it reduces the need for costly detours.

The company have also introduced a series of tools designed to perform such costcutting tasks as indicate where driver training or vehicle maintenance may be needed.

Peter Bridgen, Managing Director of Keyfuels, said: “Despite a difficult market, Keyfuels is still growing its network of sites in order to offer the best possible service to our customers, and we hope to continue to grow throughout the year.

“We’ve listened to the needs of our clients and developed sites in key areas, particularly expanding our network in Scotland.

“Not only that, but we have developed tools to ensure that data capable of helping fleet managers affect the bottom line of a business can be used quickly and easily.

“This data can be used to identify fluctuations in MPG figures for individual vehicles that could indicate where vehicle maintenance or driver training may be required.

“The systems can also be used to highlight potential fraudulent activity, along with other things, that could save companies thousands of pounds annually.”
