HOST: Jaama can boost your skillset

Jaama will host four more of their one-day Fleet Management Essentials seminars in spring, it has been revealed.

Updated with more information on a host of topical areas, the seminars reflect best practice and the impact of changing legislation and taxation.

The seminars will focus on issues including fuel cost management, Driver CPC, BIK tax changes and the introduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Directors’ Reports) Regulations 2013.

Topics such as optimising fleet efficiency, grey fleet management, salary sacrifice, driving licence checking and reducing the administrative burden of fleet management through technology will also be covered.

Fleet Management Essentials seminars will be held on April 1 (Tamworth), April 2 (Brentwood), April 3 (Rotherham) and April 10 (Chippenham).

The seminars, which are priced £295, plus VAT, per delegate, start with registration at 9.30am and conclude with an open question and answer session from 4pm.

Course documentation, policies, lunch and refreshments are included.

Ellie Whiten, Marketing Manager at Jaama, said: “Our seminar programme has proved very popular over the years and undoubtedly helps fleet decision-makers run an effective, efficient and legal fleet of vehicles and drivers.

“The seminars are particularly attractive to administrators and managers who have the responsibility but not necessarily the experience or specialist knowledge of running a fleet of vehicles, as well as fleet professionals who require an update on new legislation and a refresher on best practice and new developments in managing a fleet of vehicles.”
