Simply Land Rover

Land Rovers of all ages and varieties will be heading to Beaulieu on Sunday 9th August, for Simply Land Rover.

Now in its third year this event, taking place in the grounds of the National Motor Museum, puts on an impressive display that is sure to appeal to fans of Britain’s best-loved off-roader. From the classic Series I, II and III, to the rugged County and Defender, iconic Range Rover and capable Discovery, all Land Rover models and derivatives are welcome to take part.  No matter if your pride-and-joy is a battle-scarred workhorse, a pristine show-winner or anything in between, Simply Land Rover is the show for you.

Land Rover owners can drive into the Beaulieu parkland to join the display, meet like-minded enthusiasts, admire the array of vehicles and enjoy all of the features of one of the south’s leading visitor attractions, all for the great price of £10 per adult and £5 per child.

During the day, why not try out Beaulieu’s own Forest Drive? Beaulieu has partnered with Land Rover Experience West Country to give participants the chance to try out this 45-minute off-road course. Simply book a slot to take part in your own Land Rover, or if you’re itching to give it a go but lacking a vehicle, you can book a driver or passenger slot in a Land Rover Experience vehicle. For further details, including terms and conditions, please visit www.beaulieuevents.co.uk.

Throughout the day, Beaulieu’s visitors can vote for their favourite vehicle of the show in the People’s Choice Award. In the afternoon, the owner of the winning vehicle will be presented with a Beaulieu Trophy.

Tickets for participants, who will be displaying their Land Rover in the event, cost £10 for an adult and £5 for a child and can be purchased upon arrival at Beaulieu, or in advance online at www.beaulieushop.co.uk or by telephone at 01590 612888.

Participant tickets include entry to all of the features of the Beaulieu attraction, including the National Motor Museum, Palace House, Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear. Please note that these tickets do not include the Forest Drive, which is a separately charged activity.

Entry into the Beaulieu grounds with your Land Rover is from 9.30am, when drinks and breakfast snacks will be available in the Brabazon restaurant.

All other visitors should purchase standard admission tickets at the normal attraction prices, either online in advance or upon arrival, and enter the attraction through Visitor Reception from 10am.
