TRL, the global centre of innovation in transport and mobility, is returning to Highways UK for 2017 following the announcement of a number of new innovative projects.
Taking place at the NEC in Birmingham between 8 and 9 November, TRL will communicate its broad expertise across the transport sector, focusing on its core innovation programmes and how the company is shaping the future of transport.
Highways UK comes at a pivotal time for TRL, coinciding with new trials for the GATEway and MOVE_UK projects, as well as new research into HGV platooning and the development of the Smart Mobility Living Lab: London.
In addition to showcasing its transport expertise at the event, TRL will host five industry briefings together with partners. These will cover a range of future-focused subjects, including: the electrification of vehicle fleets, platooning vehicles, new technology on strategic roads, asset data and the Smart Mobility Living Lab: London.
