Goodwood To Celebrate 70 Years Of Ferrari

Media Accreditation is now open for the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone from 22-24 September 2017. Home of the British Grand Prix, Silverstone will once again host a packed schedule of on-track activities from the F1 Clienti, FXX, 599XX, FXX K and the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli.

Apart from the end of season Finali Mondiali, the Ferrari Racing Days event at Silverstone is the only location in the UK where Ferrari fans will be able to see all of these different track activities at the same venue on the same weekend, as part of Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary celebrations.

The F1 Clienti will see important and historic F1 cars from Ferrari’s illustrious racing heritage take to the track each day for demonstration laps. Ferrari is unique amongst F1 teams because, not only has the Scuderia Ferrari won more F1 Constructor’s Titles than any other team, but also because it allows the most loyal and passionate Ferrari clients the chance to live their dream – to own and drive a Ferrari F1 car on a GP circuit.

The FXX, 599XX and FXX K experimental development cars will also take to the track twice each day, for development work on new technologies that form the cornerstone of this programme, with the special Client Test Drivers pushing their XX cars to the limit on the fast and challenging Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. This is the only opportunity for Ferrari fans to see and hear the FXX Evo, 599XX Evo and FXX K cars running on a circuit in the UK this year – with the Evoluzione versions of both cars sure to set the Northamptonshire countryside reverberating to the sound of high-revving Ferrari V12s on full throttle.

In addition to the F1 Clienti and FXX/599XX programmes, the Ferrari Racing Days event will see races from the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, a one-make racing series for Ferrari’s mid-engined V8 cars, with packed grids of the 458 Challenge and the brand new 488 Challenge being raced by experienced and “Gentleman” drivers in two 30 minute races.
