Lamorghini have released the much anticipated  rear wheel drive Huracan with several noticeable adaptation from the original four wheel drive variant: 33kgs lighter, 572bhp and ‘oversteering characteristics’.

With a kerb weight of 1389kg the Huracan LP580-2 manages to shave 33kg off the original 4 wheel drive variant. Team this with a chassis tuned for ‘oversteering characteristics’ and you have a car that promises to capable on road and track.

With a slightly detuned engine the Huracan still packs a mighty punch. With 572bhp and 398lb ft of torque the 5.2-litre V10 engine with catapult the Huracan to a 0-62mph time of 3.4-seconds and a top speed of 199mph.

Slight external bodywork changes include revised air intakes to increase front axle downforce. A rear spoiler works with a the diffuser to channel air flow around the rear.

With a list price of €150,000 (€53,000 cheaper than the four wheel drive) the Huracan comes with 19inch alloys and Pirelli tyres as standard. The UK price has yet to be confirmed .
