DEBUT: All-new Vauxhall Vivaro

Vauxhall’s all-new Vivaro has been officially unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle Show.

The second-generation offering, which is set to go on sale in the summer, was revealed at a launch event this morning, with emphasis placed on the vehicle’s state-of-the-art technologies and award-winning design philosophy.

Available paired with either a 1.6litre CDTi engine or a 49.5mpg, 149g/km 1.6litre BiTurbo CDTi with sequential turbocharging and a twin-cooling system, customers choose from two body design trim levels, depending on whether the vehicle is specified as a robust van or large capacity combi.

The first design trim level, Vivaro, displays the front bumper, grille, side mirror housings and vertical rear mouldings in a durable, black textured plastic material.

In the Sportive trim level, all body elements including the front bumper, side mouldings, vertical rear bumper corners and the side mirrors are painted in the vehicle’s body colour.

Vauxhall claim the new model combines LCV functionality with passenger car comfort.

Steve Bryant, Commercial Vehicle Brand Manager at Vauxhall, said: “It’s great to be back at the CV Show.

“We are very proud to take the wraps of the new Vivaro for its world debut at its home motor show.”

Customers can choose to kit the Vivaro out in any one of 11 standard colours – five solid and six two-coat metallic finishes.
