TCW Group invest £230,000 in new custom-built recovery fleet

EXPANSION: TCW invest in the future
Five recovery trucks worth £230,000 are the newest additions to TCW Group, as the vehicle repair network invest to build the infrastructure needed for their ambitious nationwide expansion.
Supplied by Paynes Garages, the Isuzu N75 190 chassis cabs come with one fully enclosed curtain-sided vehicle and four custom-built Roger Dyson twin deck TR3 TDLW transloaders.
The new trucks will be used group-wide to recover damaged vehicles, return repaired vehicles and transport replacement vehicles for TCW’s customers.
Adding to the repair network’s current fleet, these particular models were selected owing to their reputation for reliability and quality, coupled with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty for the chassis units and a 3,100kg payload capability.
Richard Howe, TCW Group Operations Manager, said: “The fleet has been built to our specifications to aid the secure and efficient collection and delivery of vehicles across the country.
“The trucks will greatly improve our flexibility and the service we can provide to our customers as we embark on nationwide growth.”
Security is vital for TCW Group which, as a manufacturer approved bodyshop, conducts a high number of prestige vehicle repairs.
Roger Dyson, Managing Director of Roger Dyson Ltd, added: “Our stylish custom-made twin deck transloaders are highly versatile for vehicle transportation so are an ideal option for TCW Group.
“Capable of transporting up to two cars safely, they are built as a steel and aluminium fabrication complete with easy slide out loading ramps, rear towing equipment and an electric loading winch and safety lighting.”
TCW Group recently announced plans to double their repair network sites and have undergone extensive rebranding across all their current locations.
Formerly TCW Vehicle Repair Group, TCW Group are a vehicle repair company that works closely with both the insurance industry and direct customers.
The company were first established in Tonbridge in 1972 as Tonbridge Coachworks, and was acquired by Markerstudy Group in June 2011.
