Suzuki Outsource Car Management To BCA

Suzuki has appointed BCA Fleet Solutions to manage its company car services.
The contract will see BCA provide handover and vehicle collection services along with the defleet and refurbishment.
Paresh Tailor, logistics manager automobile division for Suzuki said: “BCA combines an experienced and professional team with some industry-leading technology, which gives us peace of mind that our vehicles and employees are in good hands.”
The contract deploys BCA’s interactive platform, iSight, providing real-time transparency of processes, inventory data and online authorisation to drive stock management efficiency. The vehicle delivery is made by a handover specialist who is trained on the key aspects of each vehicle.
Suzuki is targeting strong growth in the UK with the launch of the latest Swift supermini and aims to reach annual volumes of 20,000-plus for the car.
Commenting on the contract Mark Hindley, sales director for BCA said: “Suzuki has partnered with BCA on this contract because we can provide a flexible and efficient service that ensures vehicles are prepared to an exacting standard. We also ensure vehicles are made available for sale as quickly as possible.
“Vehicles are collected with a detailed point of collection appraisal that includes multiple images to record vehicle condition and minimise disputes. Our site in Thurleigh handles the refurbishment.  Our work with the majority of UK’s automotive brands means we understand how to build our service around brand values and protect the customer experience.”
BCA Fleet Solutions provides new car inspection and PDI, vehicle preparation, delivery and customer handover and de-fleet services to manufacturers, fleets and dealers. The service is designed to provide a flexible service that can quickly scale to meet changes in demand, and seasonality.
