This week’s introduction is being written from Automechanika Birmingham at the NEC, where we held both our Open Forum and Meet the Buyer events – with even more attendees than
last year.
The number of events for our industry continues to grow, highlighting that companies and individuals still get value from these conferences and shows. Interacting with industry colleagues and experts enables us all to learn much more effectively, while making new contacts and meeting like-minded individuals. As well as gathering information, watching a presenter in their element can inspire and motivate attendees to take action.
The next event SMMT is our annual International Automotive Summit. With industry speakers from DHL Supply Chain, Jaguar Land Rover and Honda as well panels on Brexit, sustainability and reshoring the supply chain.
