DEAL: Skoda and Autorola team up

Skoda UK have appointed Autorola to give their dealer network a better availability of used vehicles.

Under the agreement, dealers can upload their used car stock onto Autorola’s remarketing platform with photos and a detailed description.

Cars can then be offered simultaneously on a wholesale basis, while remaining for sale on the dealer’s forecourt.

Paul Grimsley, National Rental and Used Vehicle Manager of Skoda UK, said: “Our explosive new car sales growth will naturally lead to a significant increase in used cars from both fleet and private sources.

“To ensure this does not compromise our robust residual values our dealers must be able to grow their used car business quickly.

“Autorola will help to improve their stock turn by actively promoting stock availability to our dealers and their network of 2,000 registered buyers.”

Jon Mitchell, Sales Director at Autorola, added: “Autorola has been working successfully with other brands within the Volkswagen Group for some time and in the early days of our new partnership we have seen Skoda dealers buy and sell a good number of cars online.”
