NABBED: Skoda Citigo bagged by Sheffield CoC
Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, a membership organisation that provides local business support, are set to take delivery of two new super-frugal Skoda Citigo pool cars.
Bickerton Skoda have provided the Sheffield Chamber with two Citigo 1.0litre 60PS GreenTech vehicles, to be used on a daily basis by all 40 employees.
Vehicles used by the Chamber must be small, spacious and cost-effective, since they will be used almost continuously.
The Chamber requested quotes from different members and manufacturers but opted to invest in the Citigo model following competitive pricing and positive feedback from the staff.
Jonathan Noble, Finance Manager for the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, said: “The Citigo is a fantastic car – not only is it surprisingly spacious for a small car, it also offers great value-for-money and is ideal for driving around the city.”
Paul Fox, Fleet Team Corporate Sales Executive for Bickerton Skoda, added: “We have been Chamber members for some time now and it was great to be able to show the team the award-winning range of vehicles Skoda has to offer.
“The smallest member of the Skoda family, the Citigo, is practical, spacious, places great emphasis on safety.
“The GreenTech model has a range of ‘simply clever’ features such as the Stop/start system and brake energy recovery, making it the ideal car for the Chamber team.”
