Saxilby-based software specialist OrderWise is celebrating after Managing Director and founder David Hallam was named Business Person of the Year at the Lincolnshire Media Business Awards 2017.
Businesses from across the county gathered for a dazzling ceremony at the EPIC Centre at the Lincolnshire Showground, before being presented with their awards by Soccer AM presenter Lloyd Griffith.
David said: “I’m absolutely blown away to have won this award but I can’t take full credit as its not only down to me, but also the other 165 people at OrderWise who work tirelessly to make things like this happen.
“After 27 years in business I’ve learnt that it’s about getting the right team around you and I’m so lucky to have that.”
The judges of the award, which was sponsored by Wilkin Chapman Solicitors, said: “He’s been through an incredible journey which has included challenges along the way.”
The award comes after an already successful year at the National Family Business Awards and the Lincolnshire Digital & Tech Awards. The software specialist is now hoping to strike it lucky again at the Midlands Family Business Awards next month where they have been shortlisted in two categories: Family Business of The Year and Employer of The Year.
