RAC and The Warranty Group extend relationship with new five-year deal

DEAL: RAC and TWG in partnership
The Warranty Group will continue to operate the RAC brand in the motor warranties sector after striking a new five-year deal.
The arrangement covers a range of established RAC-branded motor warranty products as well as the recently-launched RAC BuySure used car initiative, which is operated by the partnership.
The RAC and TWG relationship began in 2008, with the RAC brand growing in the warranties sector at an average rate of more than 20% each subsequent year.
Mario Dolcezza, Head of Dealer Propositions at the RAC, said: “We are very pleased to have finalised this deal.
“In recent years, we have forged a very strong relationship with TWG.
“Their expertise and drive has been a key factor in our continuing level of expansion into the warranty sector.
“Signing a five-year deal is a strong sign of our belief that TWG are the right partner going forward, especially as we look to make RAC BuySure a leading brand in the used car sector together.”

The RAC BuySure initiative is open to independents, car supermarkets and franchises dealers and has been created to provide used car customers with a high-standard, nationally-approved used car scheme.
Dealers commit to an 82-point RAC Approved Preparation Standard on every vehicle, a minimum of three months RAC Warranty cover, three months of complimentary RAC Roadside breakdown cover and enrolment to RAC Accident Management Service.
