Mitsubishi Motors in the UK is continuing to invest in the welfare and development of its people with the appointment of Gill Crowther as General Manager, HR and Administration.

Gill will utilise her near 25 years of HR experience from multiple industries to provide strategic leadership to bring out the best in the company’s 240 employees at its Cirencester headquarters, while also taking ultimate responsibility for recruitment and the development of on-site facilities and services.

It is the first time that Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has appointed a human resources professional at such a senior level, highlighting the importance the company places on its people and its drive to provide them with the very best working environment.

Gill’s experience of top-flight HR includes previous senior positions with leading Internet company Nominet, Microsoft, GlaxoWelcome and Ford Motor Company. As an independent consultant, Gill has worked with many organisations including the NHS, the World Energy Council and Lightful.

Gill, a chartered member of the CIPD (The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and an Engineering and Business Studies graduate of Warwick University, said: “I’m delighted to join Mitsubishi Motors in the UK at such an exciting time. As well as getting ready to launch the first of a dynamic new model range, the company is also striving to make its working culture better than ever.
