DEAL: Local World bag Golfs

Media publishing company Local World have selected Lex Autolease to become their sole provider of vehicle and fleet management services.

The regional newspaper publishers, who have 18 offices and 115 titles nationwide, have taken delivery of 35 Volkswagen Golf 1.6litre TDi S hatchbacks for their Field Sales Representatives.

An exclusive four-year agreement, which includes full maintenance and accident management services, is based on a whole life cost model.

The deal is designed to support the company’s monetary objectives and a reduction in its carbon footprint.

Chris Coward, Head of Commercial Operations at Local World, said: “We are impressed by the high standard of service and range of offerings Lex Autolease provides.

“The end result will be a fleet of cars fit for purpose and a better driving experience for our staff.”
