Ahead of the official opening of the Los Angeles Auto Show INFINITI has revealed and released full details of its all-new QX50.

The production model remains true to the design of the QX50 Concept and QX Sport Inspiration, representing INFINITI’s distinctive Powerful Elegance design language and signature design cues for the SUV segment.
The QX50 features on an all-new front-engine, front-wheel drive platform and sets new standards for refinement, rigidity and interior space in the compact premium SUV segment.
The artistic application of high quality materials, and advanced craftsmanship make the cabin welcoming and comfortable, as it is flexible.
The engine represents a world’s first application of a variable compression ratio engine to enter production. A breakthrough in combustion engine design allows the 2.0-litre VC-Turbo engine to adjust its compression ratio to optimise power and efficiency on demand. It combines the power of a 2.0-litre turbocharged gasoline engine with the torque and efficiency of a four-cylinder diesel engine. As a compelling alternative to diesel, it also challenges the notion that only hybrid and diesel powertrains can deliver both high torque and efficiency.
ProPILOT Assist technologies are designed to operate discreetly and react autonomously to certain driving situations, supporting the driver with a range of empowering ‘co-pilot’ features, placing them in total control.
